“We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the farmhouse, surrounded by peaceful vineyards and the gentle sound of the river in the background. Monique went out of her way to make us feel welcome — from the fresh flowers and chocolates in the bedrooms to the complimentary bottle of wine waiting on the dining room table. We brought our dog along, and she loved roaming freely around the spacious, fully fenced property. The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, uncluttered, and very comfortable. Evenings were spent enjoying a braai on the stoep, with the charm of the wooden floors evoking fond memories of time spent on the family farm. There was plenty of space for another family of five to join us, making it ideal for a group getaway. The location was also great — close to local restaurants and the town of Rawsonville, yet far enough to feel truly away from it all.”
“Monique is a gracious host who went out of her way to respond to our requests and even offer us help that we didn’t think of asking for. Her farmhouse is big and has beautiful old yellow wood floors throughout. The modern bathrooms are spacious and sparkling clean. We loved the views and the serenity. The kitchen is generously equipped with pots, pans, tableware, cutlery, glaases and gadgets. Although we didn’t use it, the braii fireplace outside looked tempting. It is a great place for a family or group getaway.”
“Can’t recommend this farmhouse highly enough. We were 5 people and 2 small dogs and we had the loveliest weekend in the Breede Valley. Sunshine, mountains and vineyards.
The house itself is spacious, tastefully decorated, and set on a large plot with a wonderful grass lawn. It is fully equipped with everything one could need in the kitchen (incl braai utensils). The rest of the house is a stylish blend of modern and traditional, and the bathrooms were fantastic.
In 10+ years using Airbnb this is by far one of the best I’ve stayed in. The host Monique was highly responsive and very friendly. Thank you!”

“We stayed at Monique’s farm house airbnb for a work-away as a leadership team and it was the perfect, serene space to focus and unwind at the same time. The house is extremely well kitted out which makes the stay very easy. The house is completely surrounded by incredible views, and the quiet, peaceful environment makes for the perfect escape getaway for a team brainstorming session, or a family or friends getaway with boardgames and braais. “I actually would like to not provide a glowing review as I selfishly don’t want Moniques place further discovered!! However, the right thing to do is to allow as many others as possible to experience this perfect place. We were a family of 6 adults, baby and dog and everything was just what we needed. The facilities are excellent, the decor beautiful, very spacious, we felt welcome and the location was perfect, we also felt safe. I don’t think we could have asked for a better place to have our family getaway. We had fun swimming in the river and a lovely gentle walk up the mountain, we did wine tasting at nearby farm otherwise we chilled on the long stoep and braaied. Just perfect. Ten out of five stars.”
